Jesus...

Where can I find rest?
Who can I see to restore my smile?
Who will take me just as I am?
Whose love is unconditional - FOR REAL UNCONDITIONAL?
Cause it seems many are the times,
I fail most of the conditions.
Don't get me wrong, I really want to do the right things, the acceptable things but sometimes I slip and fall really hard...hard that it hurts so bad.

Jesus...
I Need You...
I am told there is a friend in Jesus...
Boy have I been waiting for a friend...
A friend to love...
A friend to laugh...
A friend...a friend...
LORD you know my heart's desires,
I have been waiting for a friend,
A friend to love with all I have,
A friend to share both good and not so great days,
A friend I can count on at all times, all the time.

Where can I find this friend?

Jesus I am told of Your Love
Indeed I have read stories about How You Love
Many are the love songs I heard sang to You
I am told that You are like no other
Completely in the whole world there's no love that comes close to Your match
They sing there's no one like You.

Where O where can I find this love?

I am awake at night because of this love.
My mind often wanders in search of this friend, in search of this love.
Sometimes, O sometimes O God you know I get numb in need of this love.
I often cry myself to sleep praying for this love from a dear firiend.
Yes I want to be alone until I find this love, this friend.

Jesus I am told You are All this, where can I find You?

So I will write by faith...faith not in me but faith in You my God.
Now I will go forth...go forth not in my own name but in the Name of God.
Trusting and Putting All my Confidence in You my God, I will believe with all my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is LORD and Saviour, Jesus is this Friend, Jesus gives this love, for He is this love.

A Journey of Strength to Strength

Hi Readers or should I say Diners ;),

It has been a while and my apologies for going quiet for more than a year now. I thank God that all through this time, God in His infinite nature has continuously been ministering to me and I hope that in due course and time I may share all that I have learnt by The Grace of God. I pray that I may only share that which the LORD God Almighty wills and has purposed for me to share that we may grow in the Knowledge of God, the Father, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Surely, our Heavenly Father, our God is the Best Teacher. Nothing beats that on any day.


I have to admit that I been in the wilderness (in my mother tongue we say weuni :-) learnt from one of the songs that I really like 'Kila Ndwite' and recently I have been hearing the word in more songs until I asked a really good friend the meaning of the word).I have been going through a wilderness of sorts  but the Lord has been more than gracious to me. I echo the words by Jumbo in 'Imela' - "If not for Your Grace where would I be". The beauty of God is that through the wilderness he refreshes our hearts with His Amazing Grace as the Bible says in 1 Timothy 1:13-15 about God's Grace to Paul. 1 Timothy 1:13-15 - "13 I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a violent man; yet because I had acted in ignorance and unbelief, I was shown mercy. 14 And the grace of our Lord overflowed to me, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 15 This is a trustworthy saying, worthy of full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst."


At this moment, allow me to echo the same. I have come to realize that I not only write for the sake of others but also to encourage and remind us all, myself included, that if I ever forget what matters most and whose it is that I am - That I am HIS, the Truths about life that really matter most. I believe I am a daughter of the Most High God. No other identity will ever fully satisfy my heart, no other relationship no matter how strong can even come close to the love the Father lavishes me. This reminds me of my worth by the saving blood of Jesus Christ on the cross, I was bought at a cost, the price was paid by my Saviour, my Redeemer (remember Ruth and Boaz's story), my Friend. God Your love is indescribable, uncontainable You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name words by Kierra Sheard in the song 'Indescribable'.

In simple terms, John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Then again in John 15:13 it say "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." A precursor to that verse is verse 12 that says "This is My commandment, that you love one another as I loved you." what we need to trust and hope God to do in through us. All things LOVE.

I am in Awe of my Maker...I am in Awe of the Maker's Love...I am in Awe of the Father's Love. No wonder my mum tells me to reserve the word 'Awesome' only when describing God cause He alone is Awesome and can make things Awesome. Awesome Mighty God, there is none like you...one of my friend's best song. All I need is You, All I need is You LORD, is You LORD as Kim Walker sings in her beautiful song. Then again I can only imagine...Ooh I can only imagine what that special day, O that Glorious Day of Your wedding my dear...All I need is You. I can only Imagine is another beautiful song by Casting Crowns that leaves me in awe, I also really like the same song by Tamela Mann (gives me goose bumps for all the right reasons..I can only imagine :) ) and hope and faith and much anticipation of that Day when the LORD Jesus Christ shall come for His Bride, the church, hopefully you and me. How I pray with all my heart that I shall be among the number.
